As an artist and collector of images, Instagram can be a huge source of ideas and inspiration. I’ve long been a fan of Great Dixter Garden and have painted it many many times. About 4 years ago, I followed a hashtag and found myself looking at the posts of Rother Ramblings aka top gardener Ed Flint. I loved his musings on all things botanical but also his joy in life itself. He’s writings are poetic and rambling, hence the name.

So it’s a return to the Royal Academy of Art after a break of 7 years. Woolfy has finally made it on to the walls! He was selected by Cornelia Parker who is one of my favourite British artists. I am so happy to finally get to be in the exhibition again.

I trained as a painter in the 80s at Wimbledon School of Art. I always knew that I’d be a painter from an early age. I have an MA in Printmaking. I’ve made ceramics, jewellery and textile pieces too.

I am exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fair, which is hosted at Battersea Park, London 6th - 10th March 2024. The Affordable Art Fair's major spring edition, brings together affordable contemporary art from over 100 leading galleries worldwide.
